For vocabulary learning ...

Get ready to learn new words in English. Follow the instructions in this photo presentation and start selecting unknown words from pages 165-167 of your "Focus on Reading" workbook, either from the list for the first vocabulary exam or from yours. This photo presentation is also available in English.
If you would like to see a video in Spanish that explains the principles of this technique, you can click here. It was made by Prof. Noela Cartaya, a colleague from our Language Department.

If you have any questions about this vocabulary learning strategy, ask them here, in the comments area.

Yo hice esa caja en el curso de ID-1111. Creo que se llama el computador de Leitner.

Well, Guillermo Arturo, maybe it can help you ;-) especially in those which are fixed and are memorized. The system helps you review at the moment when you are beginning to forget and in this way reinforces the information in the memory area of your brain. Try it for math, it might work ;.)
Cheers, Berta

Con eso es que yo he estudiado este trimestre y el pasado, a mi me parece que la caja si ayuda, ademas que es un metodo diferente al cotidiano que estamos acostumbrados a estudiar que es directamente del libro, pruebenlo y comprueben q si sirve

El computador de Leitner es un ingenioso metodo para memorizar algun contenido, para que lo recuerdes a largo plazo. Realmente si funciona.
