Your position

What are we doing with the information that we get? Is it helping us make better decisions and live better lives? In this video of a bit less than 5 minutes (audio is mostly music) identify if there is one point of view or more. Then write a comment on your position. Do you agree or disagree? Is information helping us or not?

There's just one point of view, the humanist point of view. Today we can acces to more information than ever in the history of the humanity, but we're getting more simple, we can know how, when, where but we don't ask ourselves, we don't care... We as human, as humanity.. There's just one point of view, information is not useful if don't want to learn, and even if we learn something and we don't use it in a good way it's unuseful.

The poiny of view in the video is, although we have more access to information, every day we are less aware of this, i think... than is due to as before access to information was more complex, people are more excited to learn the echo, now we think ... "Well .. that's on the internet, then look for" and not pay the utmost attention ...

Sorry, in the first line says "The point of view" not "The Poiny of view"

Nathalia, I checked "poiny" and got this result
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=poiny

Short for Pointdexter. A "nerd" or know-it-all. Example: "Man, that Mathematics major is such a poiny! "

How interesting is that!!!

Nice reflections, María José and Nathalia ... I agree, if we don´t want to learn it, we won´t and becomes useless; on the other hand we always think Internet will give us all the answers and then we don´t bother to retain much information in our heads ;-(

My point of view of the showed previously is that humans when have accessed to new information they just didn't make sence about the differences between knowledge and information so they mix both of them creating a bad way of view the sorrounding world.

I agree with maria Jose martinez, it doesn`t matter how much information we have at our disposal as long as we don`t care or we are not aware we simply don`t learn it, unless we are very worried we want to know more and more, for example: when we estidy to a departamentalp exam, we do everything in our hands to learn but once we finished the exam, we simply forget it becuase we don`t find it more useful.
