I went to the link in our side bar that helps us find how something works and wrote "strain gauge", a word many of us were not very familiar with from page 134 in today`s exercise on cause-effect. Well, here is a link to a place that gives us more information on the use of this device to measure the weight of trucks that run in North American highways.

Que bueno este sistema para controlar el peso y la velocidad de los camiones ya que mucho de los accidentes de transitos son causados por este tipo de vehiculos, porque por la sobrecarga que muchas veces llevan se voltean ocacionando graves daños , no solo materiales sino tambien en la vida de las otras personas,a veces tambien pasa que las gandolas como transitan mas que todo por autopistas y de noche, van a exceso de velocidad y entonces pierden los frenos o los choferes se quedan dormidos, asi que estoy totalmente de acuerdo con estos sistemas
Yes, Ma. Gabriela B., it is definitely a good way to control the weight of the heavy trucks, especially when they have a load of products.
This is a very usefull system in those pathways that could't resists so much weight because they can collapse.
